I think all is working again now. Please leave a comment on a photo somewhere if something you need is not working still.

I want to see this! I've got a 30" Comet kit in the closet. Love to see a bigger one!

That should be cool. (Ya, I just dated myself)

Just enough skill to return to box, without damaging it or self

Thought I would start A new plane. Twin engine, 68 inch wingspan

Haven't run one of those motors in 60 years. Not even sure that's the same fuel we used back then. Can you find a local RC club? They 'd know. Nice looking plane.

I'm at it again, I just won a bid on E-bay for a new 'antique' plane, details to come soon. I checked back and I last posted 11 years ago, and I felt the 'need' for something unusual, not that I lack for projects, I have 150 unbuilt kits already. Just nuts I guess, BIG trill to win

What is the diameter of the circle/star? Thanks.

Again I learned the Hard way, I should have cut the slots for the hinges before gluing up the tail as i can't fit the wiz wheel into the back side of the flap on the stabilizer

Simple fraud, easy as that.

This just confirms my policy of not bidding on kits that don't have pictures of the contents. I'd really like to get my hands on a Mosquito, but I just couldn't bring myself to bid on one that recently sold for around $80, but the seller hadn't posted any pictures of the contents. I hope the buyer wasn't disappointed.

That's rough, but you live and learn and sharing your experiences and advice helps the rest of us too.

I sent photos of the contents back to seller who refunded sale price but not shipping cost, I had already left a positive feedback, nothing else I could do. No one can say that this crap 'looks complete' without knowing that they are shipping their trash to 'Savvy' E-bay shoppers

How many times does it take to 'learn a lesson' some of us got to be beat over the head repeatedly and still find ourselves saying 'oh yeah' I remember that hurts when I do that!
