I think all is working again now. Please leave a comment on a photo somewhere if something you need is not working still.

Thank you...I am about to camo the Rat and this photo shows direction.

No apologies necessary. In fact, thank you. 500 series models don't get any better than this.

Sorry, just wanted to upload this to be the default picture in my hangar for this aircraft.

Super job on the wing fillets. What material did you make them out of.
scigs30, Comment for image # 375610 Mar 08 14:15
I hope mine comes out as nice. I am intrested to see how this one is going to fly. I am going to add 1 1/8 to 1 1/4 dihedral.

It's covered with black Esaki tissue. I saw your post on the Guillow's forum scigs30 - you're going to model exactly the same aircraft I did!
cdwheatley, Comment for image # 375310 Mar 08 12:59
They're made from paper, coloured black, with a piece of black tissue cut slightly larger all round glued on top. Each one is then attached by applying dope thinners to the tissue overlap, thus causing it to stick to the wings/fuselage.

That looks nice, I will begin mine in a week or so. I am going with black.
Brady, Comment for image # 375609 Mar 08 21:15
what is it covered with?
Brady, Comment for image # 375309 Mar 08 21:11
how did you make them?
cdwheatley, Comment for image # 375825 Jan 08 17:32
Thanks. The translucent effect you see here is simply the result of using black Esaki tissue to cover the model with, then sealing with dope.

Thanks. They're made from a cocktail stick and black insulation/wire The bit that attaches to the wing is the insulation from a thickish bit of wire, over a length of cocktail stick which also forms the middle part. The last bit is just a piece of small gauge solid core wire stuck in the end of the cocktail stick, covered by a slightly longer length of insulation to achieve a 'hollow' look.

Yes I did hear about that James. My wife told me about it first, and then it was in the paper this morning. A very sad incident all round :-(

Hey jgood, would you give me your e mail address again, I need to have an aircraft lising added.
jgood, Comment for image # 375816 Sep 07 08:44
:( Did you hear this Hurricane (wearing a different paint scheme) went down at the Shoreham Airshow yesterday? Pilot killed, wreck completely burnt out.Very sad.Link to BBC news story.

I haven't decided yet Chris. Probably Battle of Britain or like this one of yours, I really like the black. Unless you have any good suggestions... This one will be rubber powered, I'm not ready for another r/c one yet. :)
cdwheatley, Comment for image # 375802 Aug 07 14:06
How is your Hurricane going James? Have you decided on which finish you are going to use? Will you be flying it when it's completed?
