I think all is working again now. Please leave a comment on a photo somewhere if something you need is not working still.

Thank you very much for your comments. I can't tell if the spots are in/on the paint, I tried to clean them but it was useless. I think it would be that dope didn't cure enough. What I can tell is that I learned a lot of this Hurrican. My next project is a Series 500 Focke Wulf... But first I'll jump back to plastic and build a Revell Sauber BMW 2006.

I had this problem also but my paint peeled off in spots, It just wouldn't stick, had to sand then paint then sand again and finally it work but it came out really spotty,, still not sure what happened. Hope the next one works better.

Clear dope or Elmer's glue will contaminate the acrylics and cause paint bubbles that collapse as drying occurs causing the spots. It is important to let the glue or dope completely cure b-4 painting, this can take up to 48 hrs. depending on the temperature and humidity. 24hrs. is usually the optimum dry time. At least, this is the problem I had and the solution to it.

My guess would be that the top of the wings, and the fuselage between them, got splattered with some impurity either before or after painting. Since the spots appeared so long after the paint had dried then it could be poor paint adhesion that didn't show up till it had been handled a bit, or recent over spray from a near by project. It is hard to tell from the picture, but are the white spots tissue showing through holes in the paint or is it something sitting in/on the paint?

JulioAF, Wing fairings are not that tough, but they are time consuming. I use cardstock that I buy from Office depot and print the fairings out on that. I then attatch doped tissue to the oppisite side of the printing and cut out the fairing as per the plan. I use Elmers white glue to attatch the fairings to the wing and fuselage. The secret is to glue in steps. It is almost impossible to glue the entire fillet at once. I start with the rear, let it dry and start moving forward. Hope this helps. I can't help with the white spots, I very rarely paint my Freeflight models since I don't like the added weight. Next time you may just want to apply the paint without dope.

Sorry, I wanted to say WHITE spots. Here they are not visible, but in the camo part are very notorious.

Belly air intakes... the last detail. I didn't want to paint the airelons and rudder lines. Not bad, but I'm upset with the whit spots!!!

I gave up with the wing firings. It is already finished and I learned a lot with this project. Please notice the white spots that started to apear in the wings... I think it is because the dope contaminated the Tamiya spray paint :( ¿Do someone know some

Another view of the prop...

I painted the prop with Tamiya Lemon Yellow (brush), then masked it and applied Tamiya Mate Black (spray)... look nice!

Thank you very much Poppy, I'm a rookie but trying my best. I am learning a lot from the virtual aerodrome.
