I am behind due to bad idea using a glue stick instead of doping as I usually do. Lots of places to fix up, smooth out, etc. Won't use a glue stick again sad to say. For some I am sure it great, but not preferred by me.

I hate fairings! But, patience is a virtue...I used a Christmas card after filling in the junction between wing and fuselage with filler first. Many thanks to all for your kind words on this and the B 29. I hope they will inspire you realizing that both the most expensive and the cheapest kits offer the same challenges and satisfaction when finished.

Excellent job as always David. Did you have fun with the fairings! What did you use for them?

Hay, the Reagan Presidential Library is only a 15 minute or so drive from my hose! Next time I go I'll look if I can fined them. Great looking Rufe!

Yeah, just like the ones on the B 29.

David...........how did you do the prop. Is it hand carved?
David Duckett, Comment for image # 243218 Feb 07 18:32
Yes, I gave it to the Reagan Presidential Library, along with a P 38, a Corsair, and a B 17 painted as the Memphis Belle for an exhibit in 2002 relative to the Second World War. I charged them $600 for the B 17, the others were freebies. I got a nice Thank You letter.
