Test it on a piece of paper. Draw a couple of lines and spray it with the Krylon. Then draw another and test it with a wet finger.

It depends upon what you are using to make the lines. Faber Castell is water based and you can smudge it with your fingers, but Krylon seals it just fine. On the other hand, Micron pens and Sharpies are affected by the Krylon and will spread or smudge when it is applied. DD got me started with the Faber Castell pens. I like them, but am very careful not to touch the lines before applying Krylon.
