I love to see them, so I hope you never stop building them!

Nice looking model. I never built a Sterling kit. Looks like its part Comet and part Guillows.

Another nice piece of work on this Piper Cub, along with a good build thread.

In order to put a new kit or plane onto the "Available Aircraft" list, just send an email to James, with the kit details, at "mail@jamesgood.com" with out the quotation marks, and he will put it on the list.

Yes they are the tires that come with the kit, nice and heavy and that is one of the problems with Sterling kits. I had to post it under the Guillows cub because there was no selection for Sterling Cub in the aircraft section.

Oh - it is a 30" Sterling kit with that kit-supplied, nice engine detail. I was looking at a Guillow Catalogue - their Series 300 24" Piper Super Cub 95 IS laser cut, while their 600 Series 20" Piper Super Cub 95 is still, (I think), die cut stamped (crushed), and not yet laser cut. By the way, were those nice treaded tire wheels supplied in the old Sterling kits?

All the parts are plastic that came with the kit except the exhaust, that plans call for using scrap wood. I used scrap wood sanded to shape. This is an old Sterling kit no longer being made, the wingspan is 30 inches and the wood is die cut.

Very crisp, clean, perfect build Scigs! Did you scratch build that nice detailed engine or was there parts and drawings on the plan? Are these die stamped, 20" wing span, older kits, now laser cut?

Did my R/T training on a Super Cob in UK years ago - very nice machine to fly. I love this model.
