Elbert, did you go to the Musee de Air? The Typhoon looks great. Hope you took plenty of pictures of this plane and others. You'll never know when you may wish to build one. I believe DD built either a Typhoon or a Tempest Mk. V. From a distance, they both look nearly the same. Great job. Hope you had a good time in France. Still keep looking at your marvelous C-47.

Yes, it was very cool I mean cold, we had to ware a coat all the time. But that didn't stop us from looking around. What you always hear is "you should of been here last week." That town goes all night, but don't open for breakfast until around 10 AM. Lots of museums but not many air museums.

Just got back from France. Here is a Hawker Typhoon in the Caen WW II Museum.

Beautiful job Elbert. I noticed you posed the tail wheel off to the side. That's great. Gives the model a bit more dynamic effects. Great job. Love the photo of the XB-70 on the wall.

Very impressive work on the decaling. Great work!! The stripes really pop out. Very clean and crisp. What kind of tape did you use for the masking?

Excellent job with the decals (and the rest of the build)!

Bravo! This is a tough cover with all of the angles! Nice job!

The other side. Now some touch-up and on to the finish.

A better look. Some wrinkles but not bad.

The hard part is done.

Thanks Don, The strips around the tail are all that is left to be done, not looking forward to that. I don't like large decals. I will get my wife to help me this afternoon.
