The paint added just over 2 grams to the weight, not too bad. This plane has removable landing gear for flight, but could also fly with the landing gear. I still have to spray glosscote then apply the decals and spray dullcote. Then I will attach the canopy. Part of me is thinking I should just leave these old comet kits white and apply the decals. I think it is kind of neat to show off the Comet structure with the original Comet white tissue. What do you all think?
