It is an 8 foot Spirit of St. Louis that my son and I made for a company that made displays for museums and corporate events. We built two models. This one was towed across and auditorium ceiling on a cable. At the approproiate time a spot light was shined on the model then the motor started (electric,started by RC) and the PA made motor sounds). It worked fine and its now on display in the Science Museum.
