Used balsa for engine block and the plastic cylinders from kit. Used a Testors clear flat spray and it looks much better. Washer is press fit onan aluminum tube to hold prop. Yes it spins.

decided to try hooking ailerons together with miniature belcranks. They do go in opposite directions, but not that well.

Started this last winter (2012-13) and am now painting, finally. I bought a set of Cleveland plans for more scale detail. Note extra ribs in wings and tail surfaces.
