| The first coat of resin is sanded down and 1/8" sheet has been applied around all edges to ensure a little excess plastic to work with when demolding and trimming to fit the plane. The purple disk is some extra resin, it is hard as a rock. |

| Poppy's canopy mold arrived today, shown here inside the kit canopy and with the stock plans. The finishing resin is said to provide a heat resistant surface to protect the wood from dents and dings and to sand to a smooth finish. |

| For the 2008 G Challenge, it was given to me by Guillow's as a prize for my BF-109 in last year's challenge. At the bottom is silver esaki tissue from Shorty's Basement. |
