| JohanB | 23-Oct-08 03:10 | | The balsa on the prevoiusly tried laser cut kit was strong enough to take some stress. I forced some bends in the stringers at the nose enlargement. Wetting the stringers first and pre-bending them by hand. When the wood felt more flexible, then I glued it with balsa glue before it dried. On this, non laser cut kit, the wood was much weaker at some parts, so I cracked the stringers at the sharper bends. |
