Beautiful work, David. I know you've mentioned it before, but is your technique to use scrap balsa to fill the gaps between the doubled stringers? Is it scrap from the sheet stock or strips? Also, what glue works best to keep this easy to sand and shape? Thanks! You definitely inspire us mere mortals. |

Thanks, Brian. I'm using pieces cut from sheet stock and any scrap that's suitable. I use primarily Testors wood cement for all the fill work because it can be sanded. |

Thanks David. I knew that it couldn't be white glue or CA. I just bought a 1000-series P-47 and am considering spending the next seven years to in an attempt to do what seemingly takes you a weekend. |
