I think all is working again now. Please leave a comment on a photo somewhere if something you need is not working still.

thanks for sharing dd, i use liquid mask, but always wondered how to use masking tape and couldn't figure it out.

When it's dry, use the point of the knife to lift the tape.

If using spray paint, this does not apply. If using acrylic use something known as dry brush technique. Paint the initial coat using as little paint as you can. Very thin coats dry very quickly. Continue using thin coats until the color is pure, allowing each coat to dry completely.

IMPORTANT! Now use the rounded end object to press the outside edges of the tape again , pressing it firmly in place.

Always start with a new blade for masking work. Cut the tape where you marked it and peel the excess away.

Use a pencil to outline the area to remain masked. A pencil will seek its lowest point by itself so the outline will be what the mold is. Do this gently, sketching lightly instead of forcefully.

Being a short "how to" mask. Put masking tape in place. Use an object similar to the rounded end of a paint brush and press it around the insides of the frame. This forces the tape to form a better bond. Do not over do this. You want the tape to stay intact.

I had sliced it into 6 pieces - it just wouldn't work for me. Even with more solvent than I have ever used before.. I'm happy with '41 Maybe the sheet I got was especially poor..those tail codes are just lousy. I might just take them off and order a custom sheet from Bedlam or Callie when I can.

I've still got that decal if anybody needs it.

The Shark's mouth decal requires some cutting and paint to fit.
