My propeller conundrum - I need a scale prop by the end of the day and have only this 10" prop that can be cut down or I can try to carve something decent in the next few hours. All reasonable suggestions are welcome. |

Grab a Corona and start carving! ;-{) |

Hopefully a diet coke will work just as well. I warmed up by making the aerial post, I guess it is time to quit stalling and just make shavings and sawdust. |

Hic-cup. Cut out the protos. Then a glue stick, a dremel, and assorted grades of sandpaper. You've built a beauty this far, so don't fret it now. Oh, BTW......more like 6 Coronas. |

Made two photocopies and glue-sticked them to the wood sticks. Most of the roughage around the edges was cut off with a knife and now to do some dremel work. Thanks for the tips guys, this is not a task I am familiar with. |

I use a small belt sander. It usually takes from 1 to 2 hrs. |

No power tools here save my dremel, but then I am only using balsa and not a hard wood that is actually hard. |
