Horizontal stabilizer and ailerons covered with Doculam. Thinking about covering the fuse and wing leaves me aprehensive, but I guess it just requires lots of time and care.

You have probably said b-4, but how does the Ducolem adhere? Super covering job so far!

The Doculam has heat activated adhesive on one side. Before use it has a frosted appearance (see the scraps at the top of the picture). But once the glue has been activated it turns clear. I have noticed that I need more overlap than what I am used to. A 1/16" wide edge is not always enough like it was with tissue and dope/glue. If you would like a sample to try, I will gladly send you enough for a plane or two as the 500'x1' roll is more than enough for my lifetime.

Steve, I can't even see the covering. How does it accept paint? Especially acrylics. If you have that much, send me some with the Zero.

It's about like trying to paint the plastic parts our models, kind slimes around so you need to apply a very thin base coat and let it get good and dry. Paint adhesion is not the best and certainly not suitable for a static display model. When patching the Tyro I treated it with vinegar so we'll see if that helps improve adhesion. I will happily toss in some Doculam for you, but I suggest using it only on flying planes with simple paint schemes. The ailerons may look smooth now, but paint will reveal some small wrinkles near the corners.

Well, in that case, forget the Doculam, it sound like it would be more trouble than it's worth. Thanks, anyway. Any ideas on how I can mount the other wing accurately.
