The Mess canopy, well is a mess since I'm not going to install the armorplate and is quite similar to this one as far as extra styrene beyond the limits of the canopy frame which sits on the fuselage. The front and back areas of the fuselage where it sits were sanded down so that the transition would not be so abrupt. Because there's so much extra plastic there's no reason to worry about the CA fogging the clear areas. It's also not necessary to use much.
