As long as the foundations are secure the finish will be determined by the patience of the builder. SW in the past I have also used cyano-acrylate glues (super glues) to hold down the sheeting, if you wet the balsa sheeting and gently pull it around the curves it will curl easily. The cyano glues are hydroscopic so the moisture in the balsa with aid in the very quick curing of the glue. If you use a thin cyano glue it will bond pretty much straight away. BTW great build SW. If you wet the wood and pat excess moisture off with a paper towel, it can be glued in place while still wet. LIGHTLY sand where joined, seal with dope or you preferred method, spray a coat of sandable primer, and fill with micro-fill or balsa filler. poppy 27-Apr-08 11:31 Testor's wood glue or thick CA works fine. But I forgot about it until RodN reminded me of it. I,just now, put two pieces wet on and it worked very well. I forget things, and have to be reminded. Thanks for your help.
