| Creosotewind | 15-Nov-11 12:02 | | I approached the weathering to tell a story of the tank. The worn paint shows it was "rode hard and put up wet.". This tank lost at least one track to a mine. It was recovered and saw a lot of action. The barrel still has soot at its muzzle. There is a dark streak on the front glacis where the marines' boots wore the paint finish. There are rust streaks at some locations. All to try and tell a story. |
