biplane guy | 03-Feb-25 20:02 | The white 1/8" polystyrene tubes allow the rudder cables to be pulled back into the tubes during installation of the horizontal stabilizer, elevator, and vertical stabilizer. They also make it easier to cover and paint the plane with the cables out of the way. The cables can then be pushed back out and attached. The clear tube houses the elevator pushrod. The brass tube on the end allows for leveling the elevator with the control stick centered before epoxying in place. |
