The heaviest part is the wing, I think it is designed for gas power. As you are finding out punching holes is time consuming. On a bird this big it really does not make too much of a difference. Adding the lighter stringers helps. Replace the leading edge with light balsa and skip adding ever other rib, and don't use all the spars, that should also help. The other part that makes this series heavy is all the plastic. Not much you can do about that. So far, great build can't wait to see her done. NiteSeer 25-May-10 09:15 Thanks for the tips.
