Image Comments scigs30 30-Jun-10 18:53 This little plane went together pretty quick, I built it per the plans so that made it easy. It is a typical Comet kit with lack of instruction, leaving some building up to the imagination. I added the motor mount that is not on the plans, also added a functioning nose block. Comet does not have much detail about the nose block area. The nose former has 2 slots on each side for side stringers but the plans do not show where these stringers go. I remember building this kit when I was younger and being told it has side stringers, besides I don't think Mustangs have a flat side. The landing gear will once again be plug in gear so I can fly without the landing gear. All stringers that have curves were soaked in water and then pre bent before gluing into place.
