look at this - just a flawless build and the covering work is incredible.

Yes it is. Waiting for a flight report.

I love the old domestic tissue look, like wine ages well with time.

Here she is ready for flight, all balanced out at 60 grams without landing gear. I used the paper decals from the kit and the horrible kit canopy pattern, should have used another kit canopy.

This old tissue was shrunk once before applying to remove the crease from the tissue being folded all those years. Even with that the tissue still shrinks alot as you can see from the bowing of the leading edge where there are no ribs.

Even this old domestic tissue goes on wrinkle free.

Everything covered ready for 2 coats of Sig Lite Coat Dope.

Here I am using the kit tissue on my P51, I cover the fuselage with 2 pieces of tissue covering wet.

Thank you, I was wondering why that looked a bit different. You must have trimmed the tip of the rib to make it square, I will try that the next time.

Lukebozek1, If I remember correctly I made some modifications to the Comet kit. I sheeted the nose and used 1/8sq for the leading edge.

I have been working on the Dauntless and noticed that in the plans they use a 1/16 by 1/8 piece for the leading edge. What did you use? Looks just like this LE here. Beautiful work by the way.
