"Let the good times roll!"
I'll concur with that, David, and thanks for getting Poppy to accept the kit. And, Poppy, I know you will do the kit justice. I've begun a folder and am saving your progress pics and comments. I have a feeling that it will become sizable folder by the time this project is finished. Poppy, may you have good luck with it.

Hello Poppy, I have been fortunate enough to save some of these old plans by taking them to a reprographics service with the ability to copy them full size. I make several copies so I can cut them up for patterns or just make them fit a building board. |

The "easy build" plans. |

Forward fuselage. I was able to save all the pertinent info. The only portions lost were just blue background. Plans made from stiff blueprint paper of the era and they want to crumble linto sawdust when unfolded. |

Rear fuselage, rudder and fin & stabs. and elevators. I have to get a longer board or join 2 pieces to be able to mount the fuselage portion. |

The wing plans. With a lot of tape and paper backing, and a piece of plastic board, I was able to save these plans. |

I like the formed wood cowl fronts to go with the aluminum top cowls. This is cool. I definitely think it should be built. |

That works out to 1/20 scale. This looks really cool Poppy. |

I love the phrase "easy build". If that's the case build two of 'em, the original covered in Doculam and an original Poppy 29er with re-cut parts. NOT!!! Poppy I'm sort of leaning toward Steve's idea. Save the original and duplicate the wood pieces. That kit appears precious. |

James, the Doculam idea is beginning to germinate. Thanks. |
