I think all is working again now. Please leave a comment on a photo somewhere if something you need is not working still.

Cap'n Kirk would have been stardust without Spock around, that's for sure.

I viewed him so much that I considered Spock a relative...a wise uncle!

I agree with both of you, John & Bill. We will still see him in the movies & TV show replays!

I was in the 6th grade... He was cooler than Batman... (Adam West)...

I shall miss thee Spock! RIP!

I have returned from my date with the doctor. I have redesigned the pulleys and will start production on a new model. I think these are destined for the scrap. Gumby slept late . He did not even know I was out! The faux pulleys have been replaced with functional pulleys. Photos to follow!

Are you sure you should leave him unchaperoned? Last time he was out he hurt himself.

The Gumster managed to assemble the four pulleys that direct the aileron control cables over the upper and lower wing surfaces. Tomorrow he must assemble four slightly larger pulleys that mount slightly below the wing surfaces directing force from the ailerons to the wing mounted pulleys. He is on hos own tomorrow AM as I am off to the doctor for my annual physical examination. Looking forward or rearward to an unpleasant experience!

JG, Gumby was busy today. He managed to get half of the aileron control cable pulleys fabricated☺️

....As well he should. Were the pulleys his conception???

Gumby is in the spotlight of activity!

The sheeting of the ventral surface of the upper wing was also completed.

Attention was paid to alignment of the airfoils.

The BE 12a has visible pulleys that guide the aileron control cables, with their directional force, over the top surface of the upper wing and lower surface of the lower wing. In order for the ailerons to function the fabrication of 8 small pulleys is required. Here is the prototype that Gumby fabricated. Seven more pulleys are required.

JG, Gumby and I think we see great potential in "Slim". Though now his persona is shallow and mostly two dimensional, we are hoping that as this build proceeds we can cultivate and develope "Slim" into a viable member of our production team. With some carefully applied TLC perhaps he may even become a pilot. We shall see. Now he periodically becomes AWOL due to his ability to fall between the cracks, so to speak, disappearing at will, especially when there is a tedious task to accomplish:-))

Good to see Gumby back on the job. He needs to get some weight on "Slim" so he can lend a hand.

There are some who missed seeing Gumby in yesterday’s posting. I was sure to include him in today’s activities. Gumby started his day with some engine maintenance.

Then with the aid of our test pilot “Slim”, they tried starting the engine.
