I think all is working again now. Please leave a comment on a photo somewhere if something you need is not working still.

Don, great idea. We both make the lines thicker making the spaces smaller. Eventually we do not have to worry about spaces as our measuring sticks will have black lines along the edges:-))

2.0 is a good number, but sometimes I find 2.5 necessary. I'm looking for a ruler with thicker lines.

rayl, this measuring stick and I are old friends. I prefer the metric side. Today whether the metric (SI) or Imperial (standard US) unit lines are utilized, I also require optical assistance in discerning the little lines😄

I have exactly the same ruler that has always been my "go-to" tool but now I have to don some 2.00 reading glasses to read it. The bottom covering on the wing looks nice and taunt!

Not for us, my good man. We sometimes measure twice and cut three or four times. Lately cutting long and sanding to length works best. Seeing the little lines on a measuring stick is becoming a task!

Measure twice...cut once............

An excuse to use his ladder Gumby takes some measurements.

After wrestling the snow thrower again, I helped Gumby sheet the lower surface of the lower wings. Carbon rods pass thru the fuselage and align and hold the lower airfoils.

My bro in law is in Somerset along the canal outside of East Millstone.

Hey John. I live in Hillsborough right off 206 between Somerville and Princeton. I grew up in Mountainside so am very familiar with your neck of the woods. If I every need your, err Gumby's services I will let you know...thanks!

Matt, I see you are from NJ. Whereabouts ? When in NJ, Gumby and I stay in Cranford. I cannot do this "small" work w/o Gumby. He works cheap and if you ever need his services just let me know!

Looking great! Wish I had the patience and skills for such miniaturization.

Poppy. Safe use of firearm testing requires proper eye and ear protection

Nice! I see Gumby has to use his glasses for sighting.

Beautifully done and funny Gumby !!!

Yes sir, tis the small accomplishments like yesterday and today that keeps you forging forward. The "Twins", however are not mounted on the wing or connected to a system to lift and lower them. Just additional challenges that the micro engineering must deal with......Gumby, get a handle on the design!:-))
rayl, Comment for image # 3325320 Feb 15 16:18
Well! I glad that you finally got them right! LOL

On the BE, the guns could be pointed forward or straight upward. Without the benefit of sights, it seems that they were intended for “Belly shots” at Zeppelins.
John M Oshust, Image # 3325220 Feb 15 16:03

The pilot could raise and lower the guns through a lever and cable system in order to change the ammunition canisters.
