I think all is working again now. Please leave a comment on a photo somewhere if something you need is not working still.

David, I've got all this stuff to think about and now you tell me this. I think my grandson will move these parts until they break off. Maybe I'll keep this one. I agree with you on the flaps down look.

I put about 6 yrs into the Mercedes and you really never finish. I can't do it anymore. The temps are in the mid 90s here. Much rather work on planes in the 72 degree temp in my office. By the way very nice work on the Tempest.

I understand the prior hobby car! I have a 71 Jaguar that I just spent the last 10 years restomoding. Finished it last winter. That's why I'm getting back into modeling! Need another hobby now that the car is done. Don't want to start another car for a while!

About working features: Building the working features in this kit is a a satisfying thing to do but think about how much work they will actually do. How many times will you retract the gear or fold the wings or move the tail feathers or ailerons? And the flaps! I like to build all those things as separate units but glued in place on final assembly. Flaps down on a Corsair is a great look. Dirty, they call it.

Ah!! Note to self: "no pilot".

That"s my Garage queen 1982 300CD. Previous hobby. Need to put it up for sale to finance my latest hobby.

looks to be the beginning of a very good build. (Looks a little like my "ole" 1989 190e in the photo there?)

Thought I might try extra stringers. I've looked at every Corsair photo on this site and no one uses the pilot. Any reason?

I saw this stand in mattolson's photo's and I had to have it. Of course trying to hurry and build it so I could return to my build I drilled a hole in my finger. Not really that bad when I got the bleeding under control. :) Anyway back to the build and confidence is high on movable parts. Great photos of wheel and wing details on many of your sites. Funny that about 65% of my kit is laser cut and the rest dye. First experience with laser and I LIKE IT.

Hard to beat DD's point. Always stretch your comfort zone a bit.

Here we go! I've looked at around 250 of the 416 pics on this site of this model and I'm still trying to decide how many features to attempt. (I've changed my mind 3 times already) I already forgot the Cling Wrap and glued the Keels to the plan. Easy fix. At this time I'm thinking everything except the bomb. All suggestions appreciated. Ed
