I have all sorts of "fans" in the neighborhood whose moms/wives have a tremendous sense of humor. The guy across the street has 5 of em, a fella 2 streets over has 4... let's see Tim has one... They're starting to come by and ask me to build specific aircraft. It's good to be me, and it's fun to build planes!

Et Voila! Der Stuka Blown to 97"

It's a monster! Now what do you do with these, Bill? Where do they live?

Just needs a prop!

I'd like to learn how to vacu-form, is cost an issue? Part of the fun on these is how little I spend. I can build em blown up cheaper than the price of a kit now days...

No, it'd take a chain saw motor to get it in the air..

Are you going to fly this one, Bill? Ever considered doing a vac-formed canopy?

A little less ugly duckling...

Yep scratch from this plan: http://www.parkerinfo.com/plans/he111t.jpg 1/2a u-control, and flies well when you can keep two motors running...

That's quite a collection you have there, Bill. Are they mainly balsa? What's the He.111, scratch built? Flyable?

Really? He doesn't have silver hair yet does he? *LOL*

If you're standing here in the garage, it looks like Duck Decoys...

With all the planes hanging like that, it reminds me of an old butcher's shop.

Are you sure you aren't Phillip Seymour Hoffman?

In general: 1 day to reassemble the plan, 1 day to do the drafting, (parts design of the missing plastic parts) 1 day to do the templates (laminate with packing tape, and cut out) 1 day to transfer all the parts to the plywood, 1 day to rough cut all the parts, and 1 day to sand, trim, caress, pet, and love em into blueprint shape. I do the notches during assembly.

How long did it take you to cut out all the parts ...?

That's a hangar!
