I think all is working again now. Please leave a comment on a photo somewhere if something you need is not working still.

first coat of black paint because I am impatient and I had to see what a black prop looked like on the plane.Needs to be sanded and coated etc.

Thanks for the info moostang51.I am going to add extra stringers to the wing and fusilage and sheet balsa around the stabilizer and rudder and the front half of the fusilage.I will think of doing the whole fusilage now with your advise-it's worth a try.The bomb is lousy due to the fact that the plastic halves were not the same size which happens in these guillow kits rarely.I am thinking about throwing it away and starting over from scratch with it.Thanks for the advise!

Since it's framed lightly, I mean no added stringers or beefed up to 3/32 rather than the 1/16 supplied wood; this is what I would do. If you're skinning with 1/32 balsa, I would preform the bends for one half side plus a touch past the main spars around the fuse going as many "B" formers as you can, by spraying the outside of the sheet with windex. This allows the outside wood fibers to expand. Wrap them with rubber bands. Do the opposite half overlap and wrap this one too. Let dry overnight and you should be pretty close to the curve you need. Most straights and slight curves don't need pre-shaping. A piece of paper for templates will come in handy to get you close to what you need.

prop on plane and a tone of sanding to do.this is an easy build for a plane!

That's funny you said what you said.I had a cox 049 stuka and I believe the p 19 trainer in the seventies. Those were the good old days. That cox stuka kind of makes me want to paint this baby black!

Had a Cox .049 U-control of the Stuka in the 70's. Gloss black with yellow. Didn't fly to long, probably pilot error. This is looking great.
