If they ever need to make another movie with 1:1 static warbirds they should definately hire Bill Parker as a consultant!

That's really neat. I thought that air raid scene had some 1:1 models. When that P-40 taxied through and crashed with more P-40's. There was no engines in them! LOL! But it was still better than all the CG stuff of today, in my opinion. TORRA TORRA TORRA still is an all around, great movie. I didn't know the scale of those battleships, or how expensive it was to make. Very cool! Thanks

Ahoy Paul72 Tora Tora Tora was the best accurate acount of the attack of Pearl Harbor directed by Japanese and american Advisors. It was prabaly the most expensive movie of its time next to John Camerons titanic. 25 Million dollars was the cost to produce that movie I went to universal Studios in 1971 right after they made thye movie they had all of the props that made the movie the PBY and P40s were built to exact scale of the real aircraft it was a shyam,e they blew them, up like that what a waste, The Battleship models that weere used were 35 feet one fellow won the auction on the USS NEVADA BB-36 for $ 5,000 he used a boat trailer to take it home. thankjs for the reply on my Dumbo Paul. boats

Great lookin' PBY Ape! That landing gear on the fuse is really cool! That movie TORRA TORRA TORRA was just on, and I was thinking of your PBY. I had to cringe when they played the shot of that PBY getting blown up...TWICE! Ugh! Anyway, keep up the great work!
