You certainly have a way with these. Beautiful construction.

Thanks Jerry, but my Me109E flew all the way to the bin. I wasn't happy with it and no matter how many times I tried to correct it I was still disapointed.C'est la vie!

By the way Wingspanner, the excellent job you did on the West Wings 109 inspired me to this build.

And of course all the little and one not so little exacto cuts on my thumb and fingers.

Details such as the tail wheel and airscoops are enjoyable details to add. The instructions provides some rudimentary drawings for the underwing radiators and under nose engine air intake but good photographic references are a must. I spent more time on the radiators and air intake than I did on the fuselage and wings build.

The build went well although a bit of time was spent figuring out what the English author was saying. I inserted a block of wood so I could gauge out a pair of MG troughs. I also built a seperate rudder.

The strip stock and parts sheets are excellent wood. I spent 2 1/2 to 3 hours cutting. The decal sheet does not have the Yellow fourteen as pictured, and the various crosses could be sized better.

The back side of the plan carries additonal info includding steps on papering and colors and markings. Unfortunately the decal sheet is incomplete and will not allow you to finish the kit as pictured.

The instructions are well done and chock full of information, although a little hard to follow some times. On the right hand side of the sheet are step by step instructions.

D series 109. I will be using a few parts from the Guillows 505 kit.

The West Wings Me 109 box art carries a color scheme very similiar to the scheme on Von Werra's aircraft that I wish to do.I chose the West Wings kit becase it is an E series 109 in 1/24th scale, while the Guillows kit is more of a B,C,
