I painted the upper cockpit with medium green. I puchased a fine marking pen to draw in the door panels and rudder lines. Un fortunately the ink is not as pernanent as I was led to believe. The beginings of the engine has been added upper nose. The kit de

With the cockpit patterns glued down it was a simple and easy task to cut around the patterns with a new sharp #11 blade to cut out the openings, after which I used a rolled up piece of fine sand paper to cleaan the edges. It went smoother than I thought

The fuselage has been papered and has had the cockpit openening patterns cut from the plans and glued in place with the same diluted white glue I used for papering.

The fuselage is assembled and finished with several coats of sanding sealer and is now ready for papering. This will be the first time I have papered over large sections of wood.

The B-26 is sitting at home in Dallas unfinished, My wife and I are in London. When I get back to the States after the first of the year, I'll try to work on it.

I don't know about wax or parchment paper, but I use cling film.
jerry campbell, Comment for image # 501811 Nov 07 16:35
I used Ambroid to glue the sides together, both top and bottom sides, the parchment paper worked far better than wax paper had. I'm convinced, how about anyone else, anyone had experience with parchment paper?
jerry campbell, Image # 501911 Nov 07 14:47

The instructions call for laying down a protecive sheet atop of the finished side and build the second side on top of the finished side. An interesting way of duplicating an exact second side.

Interesting about the parchment paper, I've been using wax paper. I will have to try this on my next build.
