Yes the push/pull concept had been a pet project of Claude Dornier for some years, he had taken out a patent in 1937. Speed was 417 mph at 26,000 feet and nothing in the Allied inventory could catch it. It was heavily armed wth two fuselage mounted 20mm cannon and an engine mounted 30mm cannon. Two 15mm cannon could be mounted on the wings. Fortunated for Allied Bomber crews Hitler's stupidiy of demanding it be redesigned as a bomber prevented it from going into production.

The big paddle blaced prop blades are trial fitted to the rear spinner.

ID colors of red and white have been sprayed on the front and rear spinners.

Looking Great Jerry, So was this a twin engine aircraft, i.e. engine in front and engine in rear?

The nose gun troughs have been added.

The fuselage is covered and white ID paint has been sprayed on the nose and rudder. A dab of gray experimental color can be seen on the fuselage.

Jim, the belts and buckles are Eduard PE, they have a whole series of PE stuff in 1/24 scale (close enough). The scale of the kit is 1/21. Unfortunately I'm doing wheels up so the cockpit can't be open. Realy enjoyed doing this cockpit.

Almost a shame to throw a canopy on top. Superb detailing, Jerry.

Jerry, looking real sharp. What did you use for the buckles? Photo etch? Also, what scale is the plane? Jim

The cockpit components are finished and since I'm getting ready to paper the fuselage I decided to install the cockpit.

Sweet!!!

The seat and a couple of details are finished, the seat will look a lot more realistic when the seat belts are added.
jerry campbell, Image # 559704 Jan 08 16:25

I've added details to the starboard console as well as added the gunsight to the intrument panel. At Xanadu's suggestion I've pictured a no. 11 knife to show size.

Xanadu, good idea, I'll try to remember when I shoot again. An No. 1 knife would be perect. I believe the kit scale is 1/21
