I think all is working again now. Please leave a comment on a photo somewhere if something you need is not working still.

Beautiful build. I hope mine will look as nice. I just started the covering.

Thanks for sharing this scigs30, I was thinking I would print to plain paper then use a glue stick (or spray) for temporary adhesion, but those removable labels must be so much easier and cleaner. The challenge for me is how to do this to die-cut wood which doesn't scan in so well.

Oakey Doaky...just my Polish I.Q. showing through. You all gotta remember some of us "oldies" and not as "intimate" with computors as alot of others :-)

John G. I am sorry about that. Yes I used my copier to copy the print wood onto the paper. I have an old cheap Dell Printer/Fax/Scanner/Copier.

Oh! Brother! It was bad enough and embarassing to have to tell your children, "Daddy, what is E.D?" Now we have to tell them, 'What are printed sheets'? Come on! You guys, this is supposed to be a family publication.:-)

O.K., O.K...you got me! I guess you are xeroxing or scanning or something. I give up.

John, John, John. Haven't your parents had "the talk" with you? Ok, here we go.... When one printed sheet really, really likes another printed sheet....

I'm confused. Where does the "printed sheet" come from???

This is an old kit so I wont be able to use the wood. When I was building these kits as a kid I used the kit wood and applied tape to the back to assist with cutting out the parts. Now I am using removable labels to transfer the parts onto the wood. This paper is removable so it is easy to peel when all done cutting. The permanent label paper is a pain to peel away. Also I use alot of blades while cutting out the parts.

I only have one sheet left. I did this tonight while watching American Idol with the family. Still have some fine sanding.

The part is cut out and notches are made before the paper is peeled away.

Normally a small part like this would be a pain in the rear. The wood would break or split and you would have to spend time fixing with glue. This method does a great job of keeping everything together.

Place a blank sheet on the backside to keep parts from breaking.

Place the printed sheet on the wood.

I am taking a little break from Guillows 500 series while I wait for better wood to be sent from Guillows.
