The painted components are tacted together, however the blue color has photographically changed to a ligh blue color. The previous photo has the actual bluse color, must be something to do with the light.

Some of the components are painted and ready for assembly.

The conpound curves made papering the S.6B far more of a problem than anticipated.

Really nice Jerry. How did you find this kit in terms of building? I was really impressed with the quality and ease with which my Dumas Boomerang went together.

Wow! Jerry, that's lookin great. Real great.
jerry campbell, Image # 746230 Mar 08 21:01

Sitting on its two big floats to be photographed, the S.6B looks massive, but it has only a 24 inch wingspan.
jerry campbell, Image # 746130 Mar 08 20:57

The Dumas laser cut parts are great to work with, you can almost construct without glue.
jerry campbell, Image # 746030 Mar 08 20:53

Sanded, doped, and sanded again. Actually there are about four coats of dope with light sanding of all but the last coat.

The two floats are sanded, doped, and sanded some more and are ready for papering. There is as much wood and work in these as there is building a fuselage.
