wirework almost done. Plans say not to solder. It should just hang loose!!!

Regarding the second link, to quote Rocky J. Squirrel, "Hokey Smokes!!!!" That model is incredible.

Try a burnishing brush on a Dremel.

It's just a model, and may not be the right version of the Eindecker, but here is another.

Cowl is going to be covered in aluminium tape and burnished with drill and a scourer pad. (Hopefully)

Some of these parts are so small I don't think they have registered on camera. They are also from 1/32.The undercarriage section once slotted together is not soldered but left loose. (hmm... that'll be interesting)

As you can see I have been busy.
wingspanner, Comment for image # 739527 Mar 08 12:54
The longerons are 3/32 and the spacers 1/16 which means the inside edge has a gap on one side of 1/32 which i havn't come across before.

I've scanned the plans in at work and printed a copy off in reverse. I find it easier to create reverse side.

If it weren't for the VAT tax I think the prices would be fairly similar. FWIW, Sam's has a lot of good FF gear that I wish was more readily available in the USA.
wingspanner, Comment for image # 736826 Mar 08 18:07
I stand corrected. Well spotted Steve. I wish the prices in the UK was as cheap as USA.
wingspanner, Comment for image # 736826 Mar 08 17:58
John, Looks like you can only get them from the UK. Although I have checked the supplier that I purchased mine from supplies to NJ, USA for around $10 http://www.samsmodels.com/index.html

I'm not Winspanner, but it appears that Peck-Polymers sells the kits in their store.
