Thanks James. Yes it's a 109 shown here, although the FW-190 was also used. Both are included with this model.

I remember pics of the Mistel. Now that would be cool! I thought it was an FW-190 on top, but looks like a 109 from these pics. Enjoying the build pics for this one.

The completed rear fuselage.

The airfoil shape was created by carefully shaping the leading edge over, once more, a paintbrush handle.

One half glued down.

The tailplane cut out.

Now I have to assemble the tailplane, and cut out the slot for it in the fuselage.

All joined together, with the rudder ready and waiting to be glued into place.

Pre-formed by rolling into shape using the handle of a paintbrush, and glued.

The three main parts of the fuselage cut out.

A few more bits and bobs that I use from time to time.

The X-acto knife is a remnant from my previous modelling days during my teens. The blade was blunt, but I made it even blunter with a file, and it's now the perfect tool for scoring - I knew it would come in handy one day!

My main tools.

This can be finished as either a 'Mistel' piggy-back guided bomb, or as a conventional bomber.

My next project, and by far the biggest I've tackled so far.
