Also built this one!love it,This one is very straight compare to what I did!Very fine
elevatoranj, Comment for image # 1209826 Apr 09 13:16
Also I bought a larger prop and clutch assembly for the nose
elevatoranj, Image # 1209826 Apr 09 13:11

a few deviations from the plans. I added extra stringers to the top of the wings and I am planking in the nose section that the instruction said to fill with stiff paper. the wings were way too flimsy without the extra stringers and the nose needed some more strength to combat the force of the massive torque motor

His is 72 grams without the left wing, mine 16 grams so far without the main wing, which is smaller than half of his wing

Looks like he is up against the wall on this one.
elevatoranj, Image # 1172105 Apr 09 11:40

fuse, tail and one wing framed. I'm way ahead of Novice Builder, she just getting to stinging out the top of her fuselage with the whole wing yet to go
elevatoranj, Image # 1165731 Mar 09 14:14

Fuselage is almost done and it only weights 24 grams so far, about what Novice Builder's whole kit weights. had to throw a mouse into the photo to get the cat( squeakers) to stay put long enough to grab camera

Sorry too much Hops & Barly. That is barely
elevatoranj, Image # 1162729 Mar 09 12:00

You would be crazy not to, wingspanner, The Herr kit is fantastic and she starts with less tail weight without skimping on lumber. The sure thing is, mine will make a bigger pile after the first hard landing.

Sounds like a challenge. I'll put my money on Novice Builder. The herr kits are superb!
