| Last time I tried this was with a Strombecker sold made of pine and then it was STILL too hard! Try another DAP product, Fast'N Final Lightweight Spackling. It's virtually the same as Plastic Balsa, without the coloring, for 1/3 the price. It's water based so if it seems too dry you can add a FEW DROPS of water to get the right consistency. |

| I have used this filler before ,but in wood working. It will dry much harder than the balsa. I would take Decktape's advice and try it on some scrap first. |

| Ahoy Briandkilby If its like wood dough you will ruin into trouble you will sand through the balsa before you sand through the wood dough. This I am uncertain. you will have to experiment with a piece of surplus balsa scrap. boats |
