This looks like another masterpiece from the master!! JFB!!! This one is a real classic. I do not remember ever seeing this kit completed. Probably because the box art made it look too challenging for most. DD, a real museum piece. |

This is a DH-4 (kit #205, discontinued), it is just temporarily residing in the area for the SE5A till the site owner/maintainer is able to add the DH-4 to the website. |

Hi
No insult intended, it is a great looking model and you have done a fine job. I have built no less that 8 SE5As over the last 20 yrs ,And done quit a bit of research ;and I have never seen one with 2 seats, double wing strutts and an oval cowel. If the lower wing was suspended below the fuse with strutts it would be a ringer for a Bristol Fighter. The longest proto type wing on an SE5A is 26' 6" this would seem to me to scale out a lot more than that, I have never even seen this Guillows kit.Where did you come by it I would'nt mind picking one up.It is very unique.

1/8" sheet balsa |

The exhausts are made of balsa and attached to the fuselage with plastic cement. |

Thank you. About what I did On my Pitts. Used a dodad/thingamajing for threading needles to pull the threads through the holes. |
