| The Skystreak first flew in 1947 and preceded the X planes. The BARRIER they were trying to break was the sound barrier. I know of no speed barriers. |

| Amazing colour scheme on this Challenger. Much more interesting than the usual corporate 'white with a stripe'. Reminds me a little of one of the old Flash Gordon spaceships from the 1950's. |
