I love it!!! Great to see a kid with a model rather than a video game.

The smile on his face says it all.

Great imagination, neat. I think you and he should build one together.

I thought I would share this with all of you, this is my son's version of the B-25 Mitchell Bomber that he made from his Lego collection. He has hinted to me that he would like to see this built in the near future.

Hi Brian, it's on hold for the time being. I plan on putting a ducted fan inside the model for some realism, so I kind of need to figure out how it will be mounted. I'll need to fabricate channels inside the fuselage so the air can channel out smoothly. Some small issues with the plan also that I'll need to do some mods. This model will not be finished for a LONG TIME. I have a P40 Warhawk scheduled for my next build.

This looks great. I have to dig out my Panther plans and get that thing finished.

I used clear transparency paper/film to trace the formers from the plan, then cut them out and traced them on balsa using a ball point pen.

How did you get the lines on the balsa ...? Are the paper templates cut out ..? I have always used carbon copy paper and a soft pencil to write through the plan but never got lines that sharp ...
