at this point the engine is not fully under pressure. Unbelievable that at the end of the rod, the speed is about 50MPH.

Hi James, Yes probably nose first or in a flat spin. Or with the parachute. :-) It is still a rocket. After launch it schould arch forward. Next model will be a real rocket glider, and the one thereafter will be rocket boosted, but RC controlled. This one was more meant to work on my building skills.
