Nice job Brian! It looks like you went with stronger wood. I agree, the yellow fits well on this.

Ahoy Briand only one coat will be enough, this stuff works well and last for ages useing dope the old school way works well if you use nitrate dope the non shrinking type sometimes it will cause the tissue to sag. Other hand useing butraite dope will turn your wonderfull build into a propeller. Boats

thanks pauli, i attached the tissue to the length of the wing using the longest portion of the tissue, whether that was with the grain, i'm not sure of, i thought that would be the grain because it was longer.
Pauli72, Comment for image # 2720515 Sep 12 14:49
Brian, since this is a pretty light wing structure, just double check your tissue grain direction. Click this link-- http://www.easybuiltmodels.com/Notes_on_tissuing.pdf If your grain runs the lenght of the wingspan, it will help to prevent that severe warp. If it runs leading edge to trailing edge, you'll likely have problems again, no matter how you attach the tissue.

thanks for the advice, boats, how many coats of krylon should i use?
deckape, Comment for image # 2720514 Sep 12 21:43
Ahoy Briand Thatys a good bingo,Starting over will assure a better wing use water down white glue to attach the tissue to the wing and shrink same with denatured alchol seal the wings with Krylon clear and paint wing and attach no warps. boats
BriandKilby, Image # 2720514 Sep 12 18:25
