What a nice Christmas present. The P-47, that is. A very Merry Christmas to you.

Tim, I accidentally erased my comment to you the other day. If your friends would like Bluto, they probably would like Olive the P-51 that I am about to attempt.

This looks too real to be a model; great work!

ALWAYS just one more thing with a model...isn't there.

Entire plane coated with a thin coat of Polycryllic by Minwax. Now the Al will not tarnish.

Deleted, then posted in the wrong catagory...brain fart. Wanted to get it where it belongs.

It's certainly the "Shining" example of the quality we've come to expect and I'm sure will fit in just fine with its buddies in the cabin.

Obviously well named.

Yes, a complete cleansing. With the cold and snow here I am going squirrelly. Baking and adding some small extras to "Bluto".

JG did the same for years but has recently graduated to a man cave. This shop was a result of wife nagging. About three yrs back she kept telling me that the shop in the basement is under used and messy. I was reading too much. My mind was getting soft.I needed a hobby that combines art, science, and math. My career as a modeler was born. Haven't seen much of her since. This is a good thing!

That beats my workshop! I have to set up a snack tray in somewhere in the house and put my board on there, but it works!
