What a nice Christmas present. The P-47, that is. A very Merry Christmas to you. |

Tim, I accidentally erased my comment to you the other day. If your friends would like Bluto, they probably would like Olive the P-51 that I am about to attempt. |

Entire plane coated with a thin coat of Polycryllic by Minwax. Now the Al will not tarnish. |

It's certainly the "Shining" example of the quality we've come to expect and I'm sure will fit in just fine with its buddies in the cabin. |

Yes, a complete cleansing. With the cold and snow here I am going squirrelly. Baking and adding some small extras to "Bluto". |

JG did the same for years but has recently graduated to a man cave. This shop was a result of wife nagging. About three yrs back she kept telling me that the shop in the basement is under used and messy. I was reading too much. My mind was getting soft.I needed a hobby that combines art, science, and math. My career as a modeler was born. Haven't seen much of her since. This is a good thing! |

That beats my workshop! I have to set up a snack tray in somewhere in the house and put my board on there, but it works! |
