Diels Engineering, Inc. KIT # 9. SUPERMARINE SPARROW II. Peanut scale kit. The Sparrow was a 1920’s parasol wing British lightplane built for a special competition. This peanut kit spans 13â€. From plan #18. No canopy for this kit as the real plane did not have one. One color decals.
I bought this kit without realizing that it simply ain't my bag.

It took 10 minutes to sand this thing completely smooth with my Skil Orbital Mouse Sander... (you see, it's for sanding mice...) I cannot wait to do the next plane... I may start doing the fuses on the big planes this way. It is just so KEWL! |

Try a foam sanding block first. They are reusable/washable. Great for rough sanding. |
