There is so many crooks selling off the remaining portions of the leftovers and plans in the kits nowadays. Really have to watch and ask questions before you purchase. And if buying thru EBay, always correspond thru their sites mail, not your own. They keep records of the emails and therefore have proof for both parties of the correspondence in case of discrepancy.

Sorry to hear about your E-Bay problem Bill. I bought an SE5a of Ebay once, had it shipped all the way to New Zealand and opened it to find the only wooden parts in it were the remainder of the wooden sheets from where the parts had been cut out ! I mean to say if you want to rip someone off, just don't send the kit !! At least it appears you received most of your one.

When you buy kits on E-Bay, it's completely pot luck. A large number of the kits come from buyers of estate properties, and as such are simply trying to make a profit on a bunch of cr*p that they've picked up somewhere. So, when the description reads something like: "the kit is in mint condition, and looks like it's all there, but I don't know anything about model airplanes so, sold as is." Caveat Emptor, my friend, let the buyer beware. So, this kit, came without the fuselage, tube, sheetwood for same, as some dumba$$ tried to build it, and made a hash of it. So, as ye shall see, I've created a somewhat interesting version of a Cessna 150 fuse... I also made the wings six inches greater in span... Remember in the U-Control World, you can get away with virtual murder...

Hi Bill I've seen a lot of Comet Kits. Never seen this one before. Can't wait to see it finished. Are you going to fly it?

When I post the fuse pics, my re-design of this comet kit will become obvious.
