The crankcase is a flat-end 3/4" pvc pipe cap. In the sideview of the fuselage showing the aileron pushrods you can see the silver 3/4" pvc plug which will slide into the back of the cap. There's a bolt epoxied through the plug which passes through the hardwood block behind the front former and becomes the shaft which supports the motor assembly and allows it to rotate. A cotter pin keeps it in place. |
