Glad it will fly. I am a big fan of your work and look forward to any potential flight pictures.

Really crisp looking. I love it. Great job, looking forward to some in flight photos.

But of course, first I will try rubber powered. If that does not work, I made the cowl removable so I can covert to electric if necessary.

That is wonderful. Will you attempt flight?

I took some time today and finished my Nieuport II. I used Esaki Red, White and Blue tissue attached with 50/50 Elmers/water glue mixture. The wings and side cowling were covered in EasyBuilt Silver Tissue. I then brushed on 2 coats of Aerogloss clear dope. I painted the plastic parts with Testors Paint. Total weight is 79grams as shown. I made my own decals, and made the cowling able to come off completely. If I cannot get the plane to fly with rubber, it will be easy to convert to electric. I also took Guillows advise and reinforced the landing gear with wire

how long does the freeflight electric motor run for? as long as the battery is charged for? or something else? thanks for your reply.

Brian the larger Nieuport will be electric RC, the smaller Guillows Nieuport will be rubber with the option to covert to electric freeflight if rubber does not work. To be honest, I have never done a electric freeflight. Most of the guys at the club have converted from rubber to electric and it seems to work great. Don't have to worry about rubber breaking and balancing is easier. They have timers so after a couple of minutes the motor stops and the plane glides down.
