Interesting tidbits of information. I dont know what would be worse, dealing with the effects of the castor oil or attempting to land after drinking brandy. |

I read they carried brandy to couter the effect of the casor oil. |

elevatoranj, Here's the link to the web site www.williamsbrothersmodelproducts.com look in the R/C accesories section. These are the 1/12th scale cylinder kits. There is also a link on that page to a great tutorial on scratch building a crankcase. |

Looks great. Now if you can just get it to spray castor oil as it spins. I once read that was a major reason why the planes had limited time in the air. The pilots would inhale the oil and after a very short time would need to find a place to land to take care of business. |

elevatoranj....how is that pronounced??? The cost seems like a lot but having built quite a few radials and rotaries from scratch the cost evens out in the end. The radial in my Flying Barrel cost about $50 in parts and 20 hrs in labor. |

Appears to be one of the Italian Nieuports built by Nieuport-Macchi in Italy. I'm leaning towards a Romanian color scheme. BTW..Outstanding build. |
